Jim Travers

Jim Travers joined American Track in 2020 with the acquisition of the Track Services group from Savage Services. Jim has over 40 years of experience in the railroad industry. He began his career with the Rio Grande Railroad in 1979, where he continued through the acquisition by Southern Pacific and later through Union Pacific until 2005. After many years of working with mainline railroads, he started his business in Crossing Guard Services and eventually sold that business to Savage Services in 2011. Jim lead the Track Services group for Savage from 2011 to 2020 when they were acquired by American Track. Jim is experienced at leading track inspection, construction, and maintenance teams in industrial and mainline environments alike. Today Jim is responsible for leading the Denver location as well as developing new business across the US.
